The highlight of the final day came from Onyinyechi Mark Gift in the women’s 67kg category, where she delivered a sensational performance to break the African record and set a new world record.
Folashade Oluwafemiayo also added to Nigeria’s golden run, claiming victory in the women’s +86kg category with another commanding display.
In the women’s 50kg category, Anigbogu Chikordi Esther won silver after lifting 114kg, narrowly finishing behind compatriot Ajiboye Rukayat, who secured gold with a 115kg lift in a tightly contested all-Nigerian battle.
