Kelechi Iheanacho scored as Celtic defeated Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 to win the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park, Trybal News reports.
The Super Eagles forward came off the bench in the 58th minute and made a strong impact, netting Celtic’s third goal to help the Hoops reclaim the trophy.
Celtic started on the front foot and took the lead through Daizen Maeda in the 19th minute. Arne Engels then doubled their advantage in the 36th minute, giving Martin O’Neill’s side a comfortable lead going into the break.
Iheanacho added the third 15 minutes after his introduction, showing good composure as he carried the ball past several Dunfermline players before finishing calmly.
Josh Cooper reduced the deficit for Dunfermline in the 80th minute, but Celtic remained in control and saw out the victory.

The win handed Celtic their 43rd Scottish Cup title and completed a domestic double, having already secured the Scottish Premiership last week.
For Iheanacho, it was his second trophy with the club. The Nigerian international ended the campaign with nine goals and one assist in 24 appearances across all competitions.
