Nigerian-eligible defender Kingsley Ehizibue has completed his move to Serie A club Genoa ahead of the 2026/27 season, Trybal News reports.
The 31-year-old fullback joins the Rossoblù from fellow Italian side Udinese, bringing an end to his four-year spell with the club.
Ehizibue arrived at Udinese in 2022 from German Bundesliga side FC Köln and went on to establish himself as a dependable option at right-back. During the 2025/26 campaign, he made 32 appearances across all competitions, scoring twice.
His overall record at Udinese stands at 119 appearances, four goals and two assists.

Genoa confirmed the signing as part of their preparations for the new Serie A campaign, with Ehizibue expected to join his new teammates in training in the coming days.
The defender began his professional career in the Netherlands with PEC Zwolle before making the move to Germany, where he represented FC Köln.
Speaking after completing his transfer, Ehizibue expressed his happiness at finally getting the opportunity to wear Genoa’s colours, while reflecting on a previous decision to turn down an offer from the club.
As a believer, this is the best way to ask for forgiveness after, years ago, I backed out of the offer I received,” Ehizibue said.
Things change, and my outlook has changed. I want to get involved, and I feel joy in knowing I’ll be defending Genoa’s colours. I thank the club.”
Ehizibue, who remains eligible to represent Nigeria, will now look to bring his experience and versatility to Genoa as he begins another chapter in his Serie A career.
