Nigerian forward Emmanuel Egeoluoha has completed a transfer to Serbian SuperLiga club OFK Beograd from Red Star Belgrade U-19, continuing his rapid rise in European football, Trybal News reports.
The 18-year-old attacker was officially unveiled by the Belgrade-based club on Monday, becoming the latest addition to OFK Beograd’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
In announcing the signing, OFK Beograd highlighted the Nigerian’s versatility across the frontline.
Emanuel Egeoluoha (18) strengthens OFK Belgrade’s attack. This young Nigerian footballer plays as a central striker but is also excellent in wing roles,” the club stated on its official website.
Born in Owerri, Nigeria, Egeoluoha developed at Forster Football Academy before moving to Serbia earlier this year to join the youth setup of Red Star Belgrade. His performances with the Serbian champions’ U-19 side earned him an opportunity to make the step into senior football with OFK Beograd.
Standing at 1.92 metres, the Nigerian is primarily a centre-forward but is also capable of operating on either wing or as a second striker, offering valuable tactical flexibility in the attacking third.
The move sees Egeoluoha join one of Serbia’s most historic clubs. OFK Beograd returned to the Serbian SuperLiga in 2024 after winning promotion from the Serbian First League and have since consolidated their position in the country’s top division. The club’s honours include five Yugoslav league titles and five Yugoslav Cups, while they also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1962/63 and the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1972/73.
Last season, Egeoluoha recorded 23 goals and 5 assists in 25 appearances, numbers that underlined his potential and attracted interest within Serbian football before securing his move to OFK Beograd.
