Nigeria Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance have strengthened their squad with the signing of promising defensive midfielder Ibrahim Sabiu on a two-year contract ahead of the new season, Trybal News reports.

The 19-year-old joins the Benin City club following an impressive stint with Niger Tornadoes, where he emerged as one of the league’s most exciting young midfield prospects.
Sabiu has earned recognition for his aggressive ball-winning ability, tactical discipline, and tireless work rate in midfield, qualities that are expected to add greater balance and competition to Bendel Insurance’s engine room.
The move underlines the club’s ambition to reinforce the squad as preparations continue for the upcoming NPFL campaign.
The agreement is expected to keep the talented youngster at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium until 2028 as the Benin Arsenal continue building a team capable of competing strongly in the seasons ahead.
