A fresh collaboration between Nike and London based Nigerian artist Olaolu Slawn has been unveiled ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the Super Eagles collection already generating major excitement among football and fashion fans around the world.
The Nigerian themed release forms part of a wider global campaign by Nike, which has partnered with seven brands and artists to create special capsule collections linked to different national football federations ahead of the tournament.
For Nigeria’s collection, the creative direction was handed to Olaolu Slawn, whose graffiti inspired and unconventional art style was heavily infused into the design of the Super Eagles apparel. The collaboration combined bold colours, chaotic street art elements and Nigeria’s vibrant football culture to create one of the most eye catching kits and sportswear collections expected ahead of the World Cup which Nigeria will not be a part of.

Nike’s latest campaign also featured some of Nigeria’s biggest football and entertainment personalities. Veteran Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor appeared prominently in the campaign visuals alongside Super Eagles stars Samuel Chukwueze and Tolu Arokodare, while former Nigeria captain Jay Jay Okocha also featured as part of the rollout.
The collaboration is one of seven special collections announced by Nike for the 2026 World Cup build up. Other partnerships include G Dragon with South Korea, Jacquemus with France, NOCTA with Canada, Palace with England, Patta with the Netherlands and the Virgil Abloh Archive with the United States.
Nike confirmed the release through its official sportswear Instagram page with the statement: “GO SLAWN OR GO HOME. NIKE ’26 COLLAB KITS. EARLY ACCESS AVAILABLE AT @OLAOLUSLAWN. COMING TO SNKRS AND SELECT RETAILERS THIS SUMMER.”
The Super Eagles collection is already being tipped as one of the standout football fashion releases of the year, with fans praising the blend of Nigerian culture, street art and football identity brought together through the collaboration with Slawn.
