Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro has completed a permanent move to Italian Serie A side Monza from Inter Milan in a deal worth €7.5 million, as the 21-year-old takes the next step in his promising career, Trybal News reports.
Inter have also secured a 10 percent sell-on clause as part of the agreement, ensuring the Nerazzurri retain an interest in the midfielder’s future development.
Akinsanmiro joined Inter from Beyond Limits FA, the academy affiliated with Nigeria Premier Football League side Remo Stars, in January 2023. After impressing with the club’s Primavera team, he earned his senior debut in February 2024, making a substitute appearance in a Serie A fixture against Lecce.
The versatile midfielder continued his development through loan spells, first with Sampdoria during the 2024/25 Serie B season, where he made 38 appearances in all competitions, before gaining further top-flight experience with Pisa in the 2025/26 Serie A campaign.
Despite attracting interest following his performances in Italy, Monza moved decisively to secure his signature on a permanent transfer, handing the Nigerian a fresh opportunity to establish himself as a regular in Serie A.
Highly regarded for his energy, composure on the ball and ability to operate across midfield, Akinsanmiro is widely viewed as one of Nigeria’s brightest young talents. His move to Monza marks a significant milestone in his career, offering consistent first-team football and a platform to continue his development at the highest level of Italian football.
The transfer also represents another success story for Beyond Limits FA and Remo Stars, whose player development pathway continues to produce talents capable of earning moves to Europe’s top leagues.
