Crystal Palace Women have completed the signing of Nigeria international goalkeeper Comfort Erhabor on a two-year contract, with the move completed on transfer deadline day, Trybal News reports.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper joins Palace following a season with Portsmouth, where she made six appearances across all competitions after arriving at the club in July 2025.

Erhabor began her footballing career at the Brighton & Hove Albion Academy before gaining valuable senior experience during loan spells with Hibernian and Plymouth Argyle.

Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, Erhabor has represented Nigeria at international level. She made her debut for the Super Falcons in February, starting in a friendly against Cameroon, before earning a place in Nigeria’s squad for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Crystal Palace manager Jo Potter welcomed the arrival of the highly regarded young goalkeeper.

Comfort is a promising young goalkeeper, and we are thrilled to have her here at Palace,” Potter said.

Erhabor, meanwhile, described the transfer as an important step in her career as she targets the highest level of the game.

It feels really good to be here. I’m very excited to get started,” she said. “I’m aspiring to play at the highest level, so this is a really big step in my career.”

The deadline-day move provides Erhabor with a new platform to continue her development while competing for a place at Crystal Palace and strengthening her position within the Nigeria national team setup.
