Victor Osimhen was unable to find the net as Galatasaray recorded a convincing 2-0 victory over VfB Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League at Rams Park, Trybal News reports.
The Nigerian striker started the encounter but endured a frustrating evening in front of goal despite being involved in several attacking situations.
Osimhen registered seven shots, with only one finding the target. He completed 10 of his 13 attempted passes, recorded 28 touches, and won two of five ground duels and one of two aerial duels.

Galatasaray, however, had Alexey Batrakov to thank for their victory, with the forward scoring twice in an impressive first-half performance.
Batrakov opened the scoring after capitalising on a loose ball to fire into the roof of the net before doubling the hosts advantage with a composed finish following a defence-splitting pass from Davinson Sanchez.
Stuttgart attempted to mount a comeback after the interval, with Deniz Undav and Chris Führich coming close, but Galatasaray goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir produced important saves to preserve his side’s clean sheet.
Führich thought he had pulled one back with an excellent long-range effort, but the goal was ruled out for offside against Undav in the build-up.
Galatasaray ultimately held on to secure consecutive Champions League victories, extending their impressive home record to just one defeat in their last seven matches at Rams Park.
The result also moved the Turkish champions into the League Phase’s top 24, while Stuttgart suffered their first defeat of the competition this season.
