Tochukwu Nnadi made his first start of the season count by setting up a goal in Olympique Marseille’s 5-2 victory over Angers SCO in Ligue 1, Trybal News reports.
The Nigerian midfielder turned defence into attack in the 83rd minute, winning possession in midfield before releasing Amine Harit with a well-weighted through-ball. Harit took advantage of the opening to curl his finish past the goalkeeper and put Marseille back in a commanding position.

It was Nnadi’s first goal involvement of the campaign and his first assist since setting up a goal against OGC Nice in April 2026.
Marseille’s victory came after a difficult start, with Lilian Raolisoa putting Angers ahead in the 37th minute. The visitors subsequently took charge, scoring through Himad Abdelli, Nouhoum Kamissoko and Amine Gouiri before Harit’s strike extended their advantage.
Nnadi’s afternoon was not without a setback. The midfielder conceded a penalty after fouling Carlens Arcus in the box in the 74th minute and was booked for the challenge. Amine El Ouazzani converted from the spot to give Angers renewed hope, but Marseille maintained their attacking momentum.
Igor Paixão sealed the result with a fifth goal five minutes from full time.
The appearance represented another step in Nnadi’s integration at Marseille following his arrival during the winter transfer window. He signed a four-and-a-half-year deal that runs through the end of the 2029-2030 season.
