Nigeria’s Sand Eagles have failed to qualify for the 2026 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal after losing 7-4 to Ghana’s Black Sharks in the second leg of their qualifying tie at Keta Emancipation Beach, Trybal News reports.
The result saw Ghana secure a 10-7 aggregate victory following a 3-3 draw in the first leg in Kaduna.

The Black Sharks made a strong start to the decisive encounter, taking a 4-2 lead at the end of the first period before extending their advantage to 6-2 in the second.
Ghana added another goal in the final period to move 7-2 ahead, leaving Nigeria with an uphill task in the closing stages.
The Sand Eagles scored twice late in the game but could not overturn the deficit as Ghana held on to secure qualification for the continental tournament.
