Victor Osimhen delivered another match-winning performance as Galatasaray clinched the 2025/26 Turkish Super Lig title after a dramatic 4-2 comeback victory over Antalyaspor at a packed RAMS Park in Istanbul.

The Nigerian striker scored twice in the second half to inspire Galatasaray to their fourth consecutive league crown and a record-extending 26th Turkish top-flight title.

Galatasaray entered the encounter knowing victory would mathematically secure the championship ahead of fierce rivals Fenerbahçe with one game left in the season.

Despite the electric atmosphere inside RAMS Park, the champions-elect were stunned just before halftime when Soner Dikmen finished clinically to hand Antalyaspor a shock lead.

The hosts responded strongly after the break and restored parity in the 56th minute through former Premier League midfielder Mario Lemina. However, Antalyaspor silenced the home crowd again six minutes later as Dikmen grabbed his second goal of the afternoon to make it 2-1.

With the title race briefly thrown into tension, Osimhen stepped forward when his team needed him most.

The Super Eagles striker won a penalty in the 66th minute after a dangerous run into the box before calmly converting from the spot to level the scores for the second time.

As the match drifted towards a nervy finish, Osimhen once again proved decisive. In the 88th minute, the Nigerian reacted quickest inside the area to fire home the winner, sparking wild celebrations among over 50,000 Galatasaray supporters inside the stadium.

Defender Kaan Ayhan added a fourth goal deep into stoppage time to complete the comeback and officially crown Galatasaray champions once again.

The victory moved Galatasaray to 77 points, four ahead of second-placed Fenerbahçe with only one round of matches remaining.

Osimhen has now enjoyed a sensational campaign in Turkey, taking his league tally to 15 goals in 22 Super Lig appearances, while also registering 22 goals across all competitions this season.

The Nigerian forward has been central to Galatasaray’s domestic dominance since arriving from SSC Napoli and has quickly become a fan favourite in Istanbul due to his goals, intensity and decisive performances in big moments.

Galatasaray’s latest triumph also sees head coach Okan Buruk match a historic club achievement by leading the club to four consecutive league titles, a feat previously associated with legendary manager Fatih Terim.

For Osimhen, the title represents another major milestone in an already impressive European career and further strengthens his status as one of the most influential African players currently performing in European football.
