Nigeria’s Falconets have arrived in Bielsko-Biała ahead of their Round of 16 clash against England at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Trybal News reports.

Moses Aduku’s side will take on England at the Bielsko-Biała Stadium on Thursday, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm Nigerian time, as both teams battle for a place in the quarter-finals.

The Falconets head into the knockout tie with considerable confidence after producing one of the most emphatic attacking displays of the group stage, thrashing tournament debutants New Caledonia 10-1 in their final Group C fixture to secure their passage into the last 16.

Nigeria began their campaign in Sosnowiec, where they faced Spain and China, before travelling to Lodz for their final group-stage encounter against New Caledonia.

England, however, represent a significantly tougher test. The Young Lionesses finished second in Group B with four points, behind group winners Brazil, and will provide a different tactical challenge for the Falconets.

A victory over England would not only send Nigeria into the quarter-finals but also strengthen their credentials as serious contenders for a deep run in the tournament. Aduku will be expected to maintain the attacking momentum from the New Caledonia victory while ensuring his team remains disciplined against stronger opposition.

With a quarter-final place at stake, the Falconets now face their first major knockout test in Bielsko-Biała, where their attacking quality and tactical discipline will be put to the test.
