Brugge came from behind to claim a dramatic 2–1 victory over Charleroi in the Belgian Pro League, with Raphael Onyedika controlling the midfield and driving his team’s performance.

The hosts looked to have the upper hand after Keita C. opened the scoring in the 35th minute, sending Charleroi into halftime with a 1–0 lead. The match took a decisive turn in the second half when Van Den Kerkhof K. received a red card in the 61st minute, leaving Charleroi a man down.

Brugge capitalized on the advantage, gradually dominating possession. Christos Tzolis drew them level from the penalty spot in the 74th minute, and the visitors kept pushing. Their persistence paid off in the dying moments, as Ordóñez J. struck in the 90+10th minute to complete a dramatic comeback.

At the heart of Brugge’s performance was Raphael Onyedika, who displayed both composure and control in midfield. The Super Eagles Midfielder recorded 66 touches and completed 48 of 51 passes, while also winning four ground duels and two aerial battles, ensuring his side maintained rhythm and defensive stability throughout the match.

The win moves Club Brugge up to second place on the table with 56 points, just one point behind the leaders, and it comes as a statement after their recent UEFA Champions League exit. Onyedika’s balanced and efficient performance highlights his importance to Brugge’s push for domestic glory this season.
