Organisers of the upcoming Niger Delta Games have officially introduced Bros as the tournament’s mascot, setting the stage for a vibrant and unifying sporting spectacle.

Described as energetic, proud, and driven by the unstoppable spirit of the Niger Delta, Bros is expected to spark excitement among athletes and fans while reflecting the culture, resilience, and shared identity of the region.

Over 3,000 athletes and officials are set to participate in the second edition of the Games, scheduled for February 20 to 27. The event will feature 17 sports, including football, alongside a colourful cultural night designed to celebrate the heritage of the region.

The competition will be hosted at the iconic Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium and other designated centres across Benin City, Edo State.

Sponsored by the Niger Delta Development Commission, the Games will bring together competitors from across the Niger Delta, promoting unity, healthy rivalry, and sporting excellence while showcasing talent beyond the oil-rich belt.

With Bros ready to rally athletes and supporters from all nine states, anticipation continues to grow as the region prepares for one of its biggest sporting gatherings.
