Ex-Super Eagles star Victor Moses has confirmed that a special documentary on his life and career will be released on April 8, giving fans a deeper look into his journey from grassroots football to global success.
The winger shared the announcement on X, alongside clips featuring his family, memorable career moments including his goal at the 2018 World Cup, and reflections from coaches who shaped his path. “Late last year, I spent some time with the Premier League filming a special documentary on my life and career…Out next Wednesday on Sky Sports & TNT Sports 🎥”
Now 35, Moses story traces back to his early development in England, where he rose through the ranks before breaking into senior football and making 58 appearances between 2007 and 2010, scoring 11 goals. His rise continued at Wigan Athletic, where he became a key figure with 74 appearances and eight goals over two seasons.
A major turning point came in 2012 when he joined Chelsea FC, where he spent nearly a decade and played 87 games, scoring seven goals. During that period, he also gained experience across Europe through loan spells at Liverpool FC, Stoke City, West Ham United, Fenerbahce, Inter Milan and Spartak Moscow.
He later made his move to Spartak permanent in 2021, featuring 51 times and scoring five goals before leaving in 2024. A short spell followed at Luton Town, and in January 2026, he continued his career with FC Kaysar Kyzylorda in the Kazakhstan Premier League.
On the international stage, Victor Moses initially represented England at youth level before switching allegiance to Nigeria after receiving clearance from FIFA in 2011. He went on to play a vital role for the Super Eagles, notably helping them win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations under Stephen Keshi.
He featured at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and was instrumental during the 2018 qualifying campaign, including a standout brace against Algeria. At the 2018 World Cup, he scored against Argentina, although Nigeria narrowly missed out on progressing to the next round.
Victor Moses retired from international football in August 2018 after 38 caps and 12 goals, ending a successful spell with the national team. At club level, he won the Premier League title with Chelsea in the 2016 and 2017 season, followed by the FA Cup and two Europa League titles, while also lifting the Russian Cup with Spartak Moscow in 2022.
The upcoming documentary is expected to capture these defining moments and offer a personal insight into the highs, challenges and legacy of one of Nigeria’s most accomplished footballers.
