Nigeria international Rinsola Babajide is celebrating her 28th birthday, with the Super Falcons forward marking the occasion by sharing a heartfelt message on social media.
The talented winger reflected on her journey, achievements and personal growth in an emotional post that quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans, teammates and well-wishers.

Rinsola Babajide penned the note online while dressed in a stunning blush pink strapless mermaid gown. The fitted dress featured a sweetheart neckline and sheer overlay adorned with 3D floral appliqués arranged in a geometric diamond pattern through the bodice, with scattered florals on the flared maxi skirt. She paired the romantic, garden-party look with strappy metallic heeled sandals and minimal gold jewelry – a delicate pendant necklace, small hoop earrings and a chunky cuff bracelet – while rocking a polished braided updo.
Babajide has enjoyed a remarkable year both at club and international level. The forward currently plays for Italian giants Roma in the Serie A Femminile and has established herself as one of Nigeria’s most exciting attacking players.
Born in England to Nigerian parents, Rinsola Babajide represented England at youth level up to the Under 21 team before deciding to switch her international allegiance to Nigeria. Her decision paid off when she received her first Super Falcons call-up in October 2023.
She made her senior debut for Nigeria on October 25, 2023, starting in a 1-1 draw against Ethiopia during the qualification campaign for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Since then, Babajide has become an important member of the Super Falcons squad. On July 6, 2025, she delivered one of her standout international performances by scoring once and providing an assist in Nigeria’s 3-0 victory over Tunisia at the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The former Liverpool, Millwall Lionesses, Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion player has now earned 17 caps for Nigeria and scored three goals for the nine-time African champions.
At club level, Babajide enjoyed a historic 2025/26 campaign with Roma Women. The Nigerian forward played a key role as the Italian side secured a domestic double by winning both the Serie A Femminile title and the Coppa Italia.
Her successful season ended on a high note when Roma defeated Juventus 1-0 in the Coppa Italia final to lift the trophy and complete an outstanding campaign.
