Nigerian winger Moses Usor is a major doubt for LASK’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Liverpool after sustaining a shoulder injury in the Austrian side’s 2-0 home defeat to Rapid Wien on Sunday, Trybal News reports.

LASK are scheduled to host the English Premier League giants at the Raiffeisen Arena on Wednesday in a matchday two fixture, but Usor faces a race against time to be fit for the encounter.

The 24-year-old picked up the injury during the defeat to Rapid Wien, raising concerns over his availability for the highly anticipated European clash.

LASK head coach Dietmar Kühbauer provided an update on the winger’s condition, expressing hope that the injury would not keep him out for an extended period.

With Mo, it’s the shoulder joint that is a bit injured. I hope it won’t take too long,” Kühbauer was quoted as saying by Laola.

Usor’s availability for Wednesday’s encounter remains uncertain, with LASK hoping the Nigerian can recover in time to feature against Liverpool.
