Ghana women’s national under-17 football team (Black Maidens) will kick off their campaign in the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualification CAF with a two legged first round tie against Togo women’s national under-17 football team next month.

The opening leg is scheduled for April 12, 2026, at the Stade de Kégué in Lomé, where the hosts will look to gain an early advantage in front of their home crowd. Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM.

Six days later, the tie will be decided in Accra, with the return leg billed for April 18, 2026, at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Black Maidens will be aiming to capitalise on home support as they push to secure qualification to the next round.

The fixtures mark the beginning of the African qualifying series for the global tournament, with teams across the continent battling for limited slots at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

After a period away from the spotlight, the Black Maidens head into the tie determined to make a strong statement, targeting a positive result away from home before finishing the job in Accra.
