The Confederation of African Football has officially announced the dates and kick off times for the quarter final matches of the 2025 26 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, setting the stage for decisive clashes across the continent in March.
One of the biggest ties will see Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC face Tunisian champions Espérance Sportive de Tunis. The first leg will be played in Tunis on 15 March at 21:00 GMT, while the return leg is scheduled for Cairo on 21 March at 19:00 GMT.
South African side Mamelodi Sundowns F.C. will host Mali’s Stade Malien in the first leg on 13 March at 18:00 GMT. The second leg will take place in Bamako on 22 March at 16:00 GMT.
Defending champions Pyramids FC are set for a tough contest against Morocco’s AS FAR. Their opening match will be played on 13 March at 22:00 GMT in Morocco, with the return leg in Egypt on 21 March at 16:00 GMT.
Another quarter final pairing will see RS Berkane take on Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman. The first leg is set for 14 March at 22:00 GMT, while the return match will be played on 22 March at 16:00 GMT.
The CAF Champions League knockout ties will be contested over two legs, with the aggregate winners progressing to the semi finals. According to the bracket determined during the draw in Cairo, the winner between Esperance and Al Ahly will meet the victor of the Mamelodi Sundowns and Stade Malien tie.
On the other side of the draw, the team that advances from AS FAR against Pyramids FC will face the winner of the RS Berkane and Al Hilal encounter.
The semi finals are scheduled for April, with first legs between 10 and 12 April and return legs between 17 and 19 April. The competition will then conclude with a two legged final in May to crown Africa’s new club champions.
With the match schedule now confirmed, focus shifts to the quarter finals as the remaining teams battle for a place in the last four of Africa’s premier club competition.
