Nigeria’s senior men’s national team, the Super Eagles, will assemble on March 24 ahead of their participation in a Four-Nation Invitational Tournament in Amman, Jordan, according to a report by BSN Sports.

The three-time African champions are scheduled to compete during the March 2026 FIFA international window, where they will face Iran and hosts Jordan.

Nigeria will kick off their campaign against Iran on March 27 at the 17,000-capacity Amman International Stadium before playing their final match against Jordan on March 31.

A top team official confirmed that preparations will begin immediately the FIFA window opens.

Everything falls within the FIFA window. Camp opens on March 24 and the Super Eagles players and coaches will be at the venue from March 24 until March 31,” the official was quoted as saying by BSN Sports.

Head coach Eric Chelle is expected to lead the squad to Jordan despite ongoing discussions over contractual terms with the Nigeria Football Federation.

Meanwhile, Nigeria is still awaiting a decision from FIFA regarding a petition filed against DR Congo national football team over the alleged use of ineligible players. The complaint followed Nigeria’s penalty shootout defeat to DR Congo in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff in Morocco.

The Jordan tournament is expected to provide the Super Eagles with valuable competitive action as they continue preparations for upcoming international assignments.
