Nigerian forward Bamidele Yusuf produced a sensational individual display as Ferencvaros secured a 3-1 victory over Celtic at Celtic Park in their opening UEFA Europa League league-phase fixture on Thursday, Trybal News reports.
Yusuf gave the Hungarian champions the perfect start in the 20th minute after receiving a pass from Kristoffer Zachariassen. The 25-year-old cut inside before firing towards the far corner, with his effort taking a deflection off Liam Scales and finding the bottom corner.

Celtic responded shortly before half-time, with Mika Baur equalising in the 44th minute after being played through by Kieran Tierney.
However, Ferencvaros immediately regained control, with Yusuf once again at the centre of the action.
The Nigerian provided the assist for Zachariassen to restore Ferencvaros’ lead in first-half stoppage time, with the midfielder producing a clever backheel finish.
Yusuf then completed his outstanding night just two minutes after the restart when he set up Daniel Arzani, who curled a superb effort into the top corner to put the visitors 3-1 ahead.
The victory completed a memorable European performance for Yusuf, who finished the match with one goal and two assists as Ferencvaros stunned the Scottish giants on their home turf.
His latest performance also continues an impressive start to the campaign.
Yusuf had already found the net against Trabzonspor and Vojvodina during the Europa League qualifying play-offs, while he has also contributed two goals and an assist in the Hungarian top flight.
With his goal contributions continuing to rise, the Nigerian forward is emerging as one of Ferencvaros key attacking players as their European campaign gets underway.
