Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Dennis has completed a move to Danish giants Brøndby IF, marking a fresh start for the Nigerian attacker following his exit from Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old joined the Danish side after impressing the coaching crew during the club’s recent training camp, where his performances convinced the club to offer him a long-term deal. Dennis has now signed a contract that will keep him at Brøndby until the summer of 2028.
Although the deal has been finalised, Dennis is currently in England sorting out his residence and work permit documents and is expected to link up with his new teammates once the process is completed.
Reacting to the move, the Super Eagles star expressed excitement about starting a new journey in Denmark, praising the club’s passionate supporters and the warm reception he received from the squad during training. He also revealed that he will wear the number 7 shirt for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
It has, however, been a while since Dennis last featured for the Super Eagles, having dropped out of regular national team selection in recent years. A strong run of form in Denmark could hand him a fresh opportunity to work his way back into contention and revive his international career.
The move offers Dennis a chance to rebuild after a challenging spell in England, and Brøndby will be hoping his pace, experience and attacking threat will boost their push in the Danish Superliga and in Europe.
