Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi was in action for Pisa as they suffered a heavy 6–2 defeat to Inter in a dramatic Serie A clash on Friday night, despite taking an early two-goal lead at the San Siro.

Durosinmi was introduced in the 40th minute of the first half as Pisa tried to protect their advantage, but the visitors were unable to stop Inter’s relentless comeback. The striker spent 50 minutes on the pitch, completing 10 of his 13 passes, and was caught offside once, but failed to register a shot on target as Inter dominated proceedings.

Pisa had stunned the home crowd by racing into a two-goal lead inside 23 minutes, both goals coming from Stefano Moreo. His opener was a moment of brilliance, intercepting a poor back pass before lifting a stunning 30-yard lob over Yann Sommer. Moreo then doubled the lead with a near-post header from a corner.

Inter responded with urgency and were back in the game before halftime. A Matteo Tramoni handball gifted the hosts a penalty which Piotr Zielinski converted in the 39th minute. Two minutes later, Federico Dimarco, who had just been introduced, delivered a perfect cross for Lautaro Martínez to head home the equaliser.
In stoppage time, Pio Esposito completed the turnaround with a powerful header to make it 3–2 going into the break.

The second half was all Inter, as Pisa with Durosinmi still leading the line struggled to contain the pressure. Dimarco produced a stunning volley for Inter’s fourth before playing a key role again as Bonny dribbled past defenders to score the fifth. The Nerazzurri sealed the rout with their sixth goal, completing a dominant comeback with six different goalscorers.

It was a difficult outing for Durosinmi as Pisa’s promising start unraveled, with the Nigerian striker now aiming to bounce back and make a greater impact in Italy’s top division.
