Former Super Falcons goalkeeper Precious Dede has announced the birth of her sister quadruplets, sharing the joyful news with fans and well wishers on social media. The Nigerian football legend revealed that her sister welcomed four babies at once, describing the moment as the fulfilment of years of prayers and hope.

Taking to Instagram, Dede expressed her gratitude and excitement, writing, “After many years of waiting, God showed up in the most beautiful way—- FOUR precious blessings at once💙💙💖💖. Precious Dede, born on 18 January 1980, enjoyed a distinguished career as a goalkeeper for the Nigeria women’s national team. She earned 99 caps for the Super Falcons and represented the country at multiple major tournaments, establishing herself as one of Nigeria’s most respected female footballers.

At club level, she featured for Delta Queens FC, Ibom Queens and Norwegian side Arna Bjørnar, building a solid reputation both domestically and internationally. Her consistency and leadership between the posts made her a key figure in Nigerian women’s football for over a decade.

On the international stage, Dede was part of Nigeria squads at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015, as well as the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000, Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. She also competed in several African Women’s Championship tournaments, winning the continental title twice in 2010 and 2014. Her latest announcement marks a new and joyful chapter in the life of the former Super Falcons star.

The Super Falcons legend recently marked her 46th birthday on January 18, 2026. On November 26, 2025, she took to social media to share the exciting news of her appointment as the Women’s Football Development Manager for West African Football Union, Zone B. “Grateful for the trust and excited to contribute to the growth, empowerment, and future of Women’s Football in our region. New Chapter Unlocked! The work begins! Let’s grow the game,” she announced.
