The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced that the 2026 Super 4 tournament will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium from May 1 to May 8.
The competition will determine the overall champion of the 2025/2026 NNL season after the completion of the league campaign. Unlike previous seasons when the Super 8 format was used to decide promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), this year’s Super 4 will strictly determine the league champion.
NNL Chairman, George Aluo, confirmed the development, stating that the league, alongside its investors Toptier Sports Management and partners Betpower, is committed to delivering a well-organised and memorable tournament.
According to Aluo, the choice of the Remo Stars Stadium was deliberate due to its modern infrastructure and quality playing conditions. The venue boasts a FIFA-certified pitch, modern dressing rooms, high-quality natural grass surface, state-of-the-art floodlighting, professional media and broadcast facilities, comfortable spectator seating, and improved security and hospitality areas.
He assured fans that the league and its partners are preparing for an exciting week of football as the top teams in the NNL compete for the title.
The Super 4 tournament will feature the best teams from the league divisions in a round-robin format to determine the overall champion of the Nigeria National League.
The event is also expected to attract football stakeholders, scouts, fans, broadcasters, and sponsors, further underlining the league’s commitment to improving the standard of professional football in the country.
