Super Eagles winger Moses Simon reached a major career milestone as he made his 200th appearance in the Ligue 1 during Paris FC’s 0-0 draw away to RC Strasbourg.

Simon started the Matchday 26 encounter and featured for 64 minutes before being substituted for Luca Koleosho in a tightly contested game that saw both teams struggle to find a breakthrough.

The match produced few clear opportunities as the two sides battled for control in midfield. Paris FC tried to impose themselves early but were unable to create significant chances against a disciplined Strasbourg defence. Simon was involved in linking play on the flank and helped his team maintain attacking pressure during his time on the pitch.

Despite his efforts, the Nigerian winger did not register a shot on goal in the match. He completed 15 of his 16 passes and recorded 33 touches before making way in the second half as Paris FC searched for fresh attacking options.

The appearance marked an important milestone in Simon’s career in the French top flight. The winger joined Paris FC from FC Nantes on July 1, 2025 and has made 23 league appearances for his new club this season, scoring three goals so far.

Before his move, Moses Simon spent six seasons with Nantes where he established himself as one of the club’s most influential attacking players. Initially joining on loan in 2019, he went on to make 177 league appearances for the club, scoring 33 goals and providing 38 assists before departing in 2025.

During his time with Nantes, Simon also enjoyed domestic cup success. He was part of the squad that won the Coupe de France in 2022 and helped the club reach the final again the following year.

At international level, Simon has also been a regular figure for the Nigeria national football team since making his debut on March 25, 2015. The winger has gone on to earn 94 caps for the Super Eagles and has scored 10 goals for the national team.
