Nigerian winger Moses Simon played 64 minutes for Paris FC as the Ligue 1 side pulled off a dramatic 2-2 draw against Marseille on Saturday.

Marseille looked in control for much of the match, taking the lead through a Mason Greenwood penalty just after the 15th minute, awarded after Moustapha Mbow handled the ball in the box. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled the visitors advantage nine minutes into the second half, finishing off a Greenwood cross at the back post.

Paris FC, however, refused to fold. Jonathan Ikoné pulled one back in the 82nd minute with a well-placed header, before Ilan Kebbal converted a 94th-minute penalty after Marseille’s goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli fouled Marshall Munetsi, completing a stunning turnaround.

Simon, who played 64 minutes, completed 14 of 15 passes, helping Paris FC maintain structure in midfield and support the attacking phases, although he did not register a shot. His experience and composure were part of a broader team effort that allowed the hosts to claw back from a two-goal deficit.

The draw leaves Paris FC seven points above the relegation play-off spot, providing a crucial boost in their fight for survival, while Marseille slip further behind title contenders RC Lens. For Moses Simon, it was another solid display for his club as the Super Eagles winger continues to be a regular feature in the side.
