Fulham were defeated 2‑1 by Everton in a Premier League clash at Craven Cottage, with the hosts unable to convert their first‑half advantage into victory against resilient opponents.
Fulham started strongly and took the lead early when Raúl Jiménez’s shot deflected off Vitalii Mykolenko and into the net for an own goal. The home side controlled possession through the first half and created several openings.
Alex Iwobi was central to Fulham’s build‑up play, completing 70 passes with 65 accurate, helping the team retain control in midfield during the opening period. Samuel Chukwueze was involved on the flank, completing 18 of 23 passes and delivering 2 crosses (1 on target). Chukwueze was substituted off in the 75th minute, shortly before Everton’s equaliser.

Fulham also came close in the first period, with attempts from Emile Smith‑Rowe and Chukwueze hitting the woodwork as they probed Everton’s back line.
Everton responded in the second half with a stronger display. Kiernan Dewsbury‑Hall levelled in the 75th minute with a low strike that beat goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Eight minutes later, Everton completed the turnaround when Leno, under pressure from a corner, inadvertently turned the ball into his own net, giving the visitors the winning goal.
Calvin Bassey was named on the bench but did not feature, and he is yet to start a game for Fulham since his return from the African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The defeat leaves Fulham in 10th place in the Premier League, while Everton’s comeback lifts them into seventh, extending their unbeaten away run in the division to five games.
