Chukwuebuka Enekwechi maintained his impressive run on the World Indoor circuit with a second place finish in the men’s shot put at the Hvezdy v Nehvizdech meeting in the Czech Republic, Trybal News reports.
The African record holder delivered his best throw of 21.20m on his final attempt to secure the runner up position. The mark slightly improved on the 21.19m he recorded on his fifth throw, showing strong consistency throughout the competition.
Italy’s Leonardo Fabbri claimed victory with a leading mark of 21.80m, while Jamaica’s Rajindra Campbell placed third after registering a distance of 21.15m.
The event marked Enekwechi’s seventh appearance of the season and the 21.20m effort stands as his third best throw so far this year, underlining his steady form in the indoor campaign.
