Super Eagles striker Anas Yusuf has completed a transfer to Algerian top flight club JS Saoura, marking a new step in his career as he heads to Béchar. The 22 year old forward will wear the club’s yellow and blue colours after choosing the Algerian side as his next destination.
Anas Yusuf had attracted interest from Tunisia in recent weeks, but ultimately decided to continue his development with JS Saoura. The move comes on the back of impressive performances in Nigeria, where he finished last season as the top scorer in the NPFL while playing for Nasarawa United.
The striker has also been involved on the international stage, representing Nigeria with the CHAN Eagles at the last African Nations Championship tournament. In the ongoing NPFL campaign, he found the net seven times, maintaining his reputation as one of the league’s most consistent attacking threats.
JS Saoura will be hoping Yusuf’s goal scoring instincts translate quickly to the Algerian league as they look to strengthen their attacking options for the remainder of the season.
