Rabiu praised the players for lifting the spirit of Nigerians with their performance and for securing a place in the semi-finals of the tournament. In a congratulatory message, he described the win as a proud moment for the nation and commended the team’s fighting spirit and determination.
To further motivate the players, the business mogul pledged $500,000 to the team if they go on to win their semi-final match, with an additional $50,000 for every goal scored in that game.
