Olisa Ndah made an immediate impact on his debut for Stellenbosch FC, delivering a composed performance to help his side claim a 2-1 home win over Chippa United in the South African Premier League.

Recently arriving from Orlando Pirates, Super Eagles defender Ndah slotted seamlessly into the team and was deployed in a defensive midfield role, where he showcased his versatility and strong reading of the game. The Nigerian international played 84 minutes before being replaced by Wonderboy Makhubu, who was later sent off in the closing stages.

Ndah’s performance stood out as he maintained a perfect record in his defensive duties, completing all his tackles and clearances while helping to shield the backline effectively. His calm presence and positional discipline contributed significantly to Stellenbosch holding onto their advantage.

The debut had been delayed due to work permit issues, but the former Akwa United FC defender showed no signs of rust, settling quickly into the rhythm of the game and playing a key role in securing all three points.

The win moves Stellenbosch up to eighth place on the league table with 28 points, boosting their hopes of a strong finish to the season. Ndah will now be aiming to build on this encouraging start as he looks to establish himself as a regular in the team.
