Daniel Ogunmodede has taken a significant step forward in his coaching journey after successfully obtaining his UEFA B licence, strengthening his credentials within the game.
The Super Eagles assistant coach confirmed the achievement himself, expressing pride at reaching another milestone in his professional development.
“As an advocate of football coaching education, I am humbly pleased to announce my successful completion and official recognition as a UEFA B Licensed coach,” he said via his social media platforms.
Daniel Ogunmodede, who joined the national team’s technical crew in September 2024, has continued to underline the importance of continuous learning in modern football. His development path also includes involvement with Nigeria’s coaching setup at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, where he gained valuable experience on the international stage.
The UEFA B licence is widely regarded as a key qualification in global coaching, enabling holders to work at a professional level while deepening their tactical and technical understanding of the game.
While his coaching profile continues to rise, uncertainty remains over his club future at Remo Stars. Reports of tension between Ogunmodede and the club’s management have emerged in recent months, particularly following the appointment of Usman Abd’Allah as technical adviser.
Despite the speculation, Remo Stars have yet to make any official statement regarding Ogunmodede’s position, leaving questions over whether the NPFL title winning coach will continue in his role or move on as his career progresses.
