The Confederation of African Football has officially announced the dates and kick off times for the quarter final matches of the 2025 26 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup as the competition moves into its decisive knockout stage.
The last eight will deliver several major clashes across the continent in mid March, including an all Moroccan showdown and a number of intense North African battles with semi final places at stake.
One of the headline fixtures will see Moroccan rivals Olympique Club de Safi and Wydad AC face off. The first leg is scheduled for 15 March at 22:00 GMT in Safi, while the return leg will take place in Casablanca on 22 March at 19:00 GMT. The tie guarantees that at least one Moroccan side will reach the semi finals.
Egypt’s Al Masry SC will take on Algeria’s CR Belouizdad in another high profile encounter. Their first leg will be played on 14 March at 20:00 GMT, with the second leg set for 21 March at 19:00 GMT.
Meanwhile, Zamalek SC begin their campaign away to Congolese side AS Otoho on 14 March at 13:00 GMT. The return fixture is fixed for 22 March at 16:00 GMT.
In another key match up, DR Congo’s AS Maniema Union will host Algeria’s USM Alger on 15 March at 13:00 GMT, before travelling for the return leg on 22 March at 19:00 GMT.
These fixtures follow the quarter final draw held in Cairo last month, where the remaining teams discovered their opponents and their possible route to the final.
All ties will be played over two legs, with aggregate winners progressing to the semi finals. The bracket confirms that the winner between AS Maniema Union and USM Alger will meet the victor of the Moroccan derby between Olympique Safi and Wydad AC.
On the other side, the team that advances from Al Masry against CR Belouizdad will face whoever qualifies from the clash between AS Otoho and Zamalek.
The semi finals are scheduled for 10 to 12 April for the first legs and 17 to 19 April for the return matches. The competition will conclude with a two legged final in May to determine the new champions of Africa’s second tier club tournament.
With the full schedule of the CAF Confederation Cup Quarterfinals now confirmed, attention turns to the pitch as the eight remaining clubs prepare to fight for a place in the semi finals and keep their continental ambitions alive.
