Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has shared his thoughts after Valencia secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Osasuna at the Mestalla on Sunday.

Carlos Corberán’s men claimed all three points thanks to a decisive moment involving Sadiq, who won the penalty that was calmly converted by Largie Ramazani to seal the win. The result lifted Valencia to 13th place on the LaLiga table with 29 points as they continue their push for stability in the second half of the season.

Sadiq expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance and emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in the coming matches.

“It’s important for us to win the three points today,” he told the club’s official website.

“We’ve been working hard this week to give the fans what they deserve, and now we finally have the three points and are already looking forward to the next match.”

The Nigerian forward joined Valencia on a permanent deal from Real Sociedad in January and has been working to establish himself in the squad. The 29 year old has scored once in eight league appearances so far and will hope to add to his tally as Valencia aim to climb further up the table.
