These include the FASU Pre Games Scientific Conference, the Vice Chancellors Forum and the FISU FASU NUSF Seminar, all designed to promote research, improve governance and strengthen cooperation within university sports in Africa.
Other programmes such as the FASU International Volunteers Programme and cultural exchange activities will give students opportunities to develop leadership skills and gain practical experience while interacting with peers from different countries.
Organisers expect strong participation from universities across Africa as preparations get underway. The 2026 edition aims to further promote excellence in university sports and deepen collaboration among higher education institutions on the continent.
