Super Falcons Stars Arrive in Yaounde for Cameroon Friendlies

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has arrived at the team’s camp in Yaounde ahead of the upcoming international friendlies against Cameroon. She is joined by key teammates Oluwatosin Demehin, Christy Ucheibe, Gift Monday and Ngozi Okobi as preparations begin in earnest.

Other players already in camp include Ogbonna Glory, Christopher Precious, Omewa Joy, Onyenezide Esther, Oloko Fatima and Nkwocha Favour, while 14 more players are still expected to join the squad.

Head coach Justine Madugu will oversee the team’s first training session later tonight as the players begin final preparations for the double header against the Indomitable Lionesses.

The Super Falcons will take on Cameroon in the first friendly in Yaounde on Saturday, with the second encounter scheduled for next Tuesday. The matches are part of both teams’ build up to the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group C of the tournament alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt, while Cameroon will compete in Group D with Cape Verde, Ghana and Mali.

Players currently in camp are Rasheedat Ajibade, Oluwatosin Demehin, Christy Ucheibe, Gift Monday, Ngozi Okobi Okeoghene, Ogbonna Glory, Christopher Precious, Omewa Joy, Onyenezide Esther, Oloko Fatima and Nkwocha Favour.
