Morocco’s Brahim Díaz has claimed the Puma Golden Boot at the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, finishing as the tournament’s top scorer with five goals.

The Real Madrid forward scored in five consecutive matches, including strikes against Comoros, Mali, Zambia, Tanzania, and Cameroon, becoming the first player in AFCON history to achieve this feat. Despite Morocco falling just short in the final, Díaz’s consistency and scoring prowess made him the standout attacker of the tournament.

Player of the Tournament (Golden Ball): Sadio Mané — Senegal

Senegalese superstar Sadio Mané earned the award for his leadership, key contributions, and consistent performances. The 33 year old scored two goals in the tournament and provided constant inspiration in the Teranga Lions march to glory.

Best Goalkeeper: Yassine Bounou (Bono) — Morocco

Moroccan shot-stopper Yassine Bounou impressed with crucial saves and commanding displays, earning Best Goalkeeper honours. Yassine kept 5 clean sheets in 7 games. This raised Bounou’s total to 11 clean sheets in AFCON history, making him the second-most goalkeeper to achieve this feat in the tournaments history, tied with former Ivory Coast international Boubacar Barry.

Fair Play Award: Morocco

Morocco was recognized for their sportsmanship, respect for opponents, and professionalism throughout the tournament.
