Super Eagles Ademola Lookman was named Man of the Match following Nigeria’s 4-0 thrashing of Mozambique, a victory that sent the team into the AFCON 2025 quarterfinals.
This marks Lookman’s second MOTM award at the ongoing tournament, having previously earned the accolade in Nigeria’s hard-fought 3-2 win over Tunisia.
Lookman, who has now scored three goals and provided three assists in four games, was instrumental against Mozambique, orchestrating Nigeria’s attack and keeping the opposition on the back foot throughout the match.
With a total of six goal contributions in just four games, Lookman continues to prove himself as one of the standout performers for the Super Eagles at AFCON 2025.
